At present, several types of mainstream display technologies, if LCD is the first generation, then OLED is the second generation, and Micro LED is the third generation.

As we all know, Micro LED is to thin, miniaturize and array the LED structure design, and the volume is about 1% of the current mainstream LED size. Each pixel can be addressed and illuminated separately, reducing the pixel's dot pitch down to the order of micrometers, with low power consumption, high brightness, ultra-high resolution and color saturation, faster response, and longer life. , high efficiency and other advantages.

Due to the quality improvement of the Micro LED, many people in the industry believe that Micro LED will be the next generation of revolutionary display technology. At the same time, the application range of Micro LED is very rich, and it has broad prospects in both large and small size fields.

However, as far as the current development is concerned, MicroLED technology is still in the primary stage. MicroLED shows that the supply chain is complex and lengthy. Each process is crucial, and effective management of each aspect will be challenging.

Compared with Micro LED, in theory, Mini LED technology is less difficult, it is easier to achieve mass production, and the liquid crystal display backlight market can be developed in a large amount, and the product economy is better. According to industry estimates, if the LCD panel is designed with Mini LED backlight, the price is only 6~80% for OLED TV panels, but the brightness and image quality are similar to those of OLED, and the power saving efficiency is higher.

In the past two years, the LED small pitch has developed very fast, as the domestic LED small pitch main supply. However, if the light bulb is considered to be small, it is a technological advancement of the small pitch LED in hardware, which is not comprehensive. Because there are many reasons behind this trend, the main reason is the improvement of light efficiency. Under the demand of the same brightness, after the luminous efficiency is improved, the crystal required for the lamp bead is smaller, thereby making the lamp bead itself smaller.

In addition, the needs of users are constantly improving. Since the resolution of the conventional small-pitch LED screen is not high, the size of the bead is reduced to ensure the resolution of the screen is increased under the same screen area. This also makes small-pitch LED screens more likely to catch up with the trend of resolution.

Of course, as the manufacturer itself, only by constantly upgrading the hardware specifications of the product can differentiate products be promoted. Moreover, higher light efficiency and smaller lamp beads are beneficial to reduce the hardware cost of the product in order to cope with the more intense competition in the future market.

It must be mentioned that after many years of product iterations, the application scenario of small-pitch LED screens has been expanded. Not only did the advertising machine appear in the marketing and promotion market, but also went deep into the theater, trying to replace the traditional way of watching movies.
